Early mornings

Today was the beginning of summer school....sooo exciting....lol...however Monday was a bit more exciting... it was July 4th and I got to see a spectacular firework show, unfortunately, my camera decided it wouldn't take good quality pics :( but fortunately my fiance snapped a few for me and the last photo on here is my fav from the ones he took...the other pics are from where I was sitting awaiting for the show to start...the weather was perfect, which is surprising because this is Texas! but it was really lovely to just sit there and watch the sunset and then get to enjoy the fireworks being shot off...

Now about this outfit...i've had this top for forever and I still absolutely love it! The color of it is absolutely my favorite...i'm very drawn to pastels, lol...but the flowiness of this top is just superb :) basically if I had to pick just one blouse to wear everyday for the rest of my life...I would for sure pick this one...hope everyone's week/life is going amazing!!

 

fringe it out



today has been such a slow moving day but i have been reading a new book...well it's new to me it's actually pretty old, it is called p.s. i love you and i've actually seen the movie about a gazillion and one times... there was a period of time in my life where i would watch it like every single night lol anyway the book and movie are totally and completely different from each other, i mean the basic plot line is the same and some things are the same but there are different characters in the book & movie...honestly books that are made into movies are sometimes a bit of a disapointment...don't get me wrong i love harry potter and yes i admit i love twilight lol but most of the time after i've seen the movie version i always think why couldn't they have just followed the book? the books are usually (in my opinion) better...but whatever no one asks me my opinion before they make the movie and the movie industry seems to be doing just fine lol but back to the my main point....the book (p.s. i love yoou) is really really good it's made me cry a couple of different times and i'm only half way through! sooo if you haven't read the book it's definitely a must read!

now about my outfit i'm in love with the top and boots both have fringe on them and it's sorta hard to see that the shoes do but theyyy dooo...i love the way the fringe moves when i'm walking, it's very flowy and makes me feel like i'm kinda dancing :)

The other day I went to one of my favorite locations...despite being there and taking in the beautiful surroundings I still could not help but miss my fiance pathetic I know...anyway I managed to take some pictas :) ALSO i'm very excited about this coming week not because I'm doing something super cool BUT I get to have a week off of work to RELAX :) yay!

I just found these bands online a couple of weeks ago and I'm obsessed! enjoyyyy!

my oh my how time flies

I've been so bad about keeping up with my blog :( I just can't seem to find enough time in the day to get to everything that I want to do...but here are some of the pics that I have taken of my outfits from the past couple of days..if I had to pick a favorite it would probably be the denim vest with the floral skirt..idk something about it reminds me of the 80's and right now I'm a bit OBSESSED with the 80's lol if I did have all the time in the world right now well 1.) I would go to florida and spend time with my AMAZING fiance and then 2.) I would have an 80's movie marathon!
